S.T.A.R.T. Bus

The public bus system that services Jackson Hole is called the Southern Teton Area Rapid Transportation, commonly referred to as the “START” Bus. They do an excellent job, especially during the Winter season, of providing safe and reliable transportation. Stops are conveniently located throughout the valley.

The Town Shuttle and North Route are free of charge. To go back and forth between Teton Village and the town of Jackson the fares are:

1 ride (one way):  $3
Teton Village Road only: 1 ride (one way):  $1
Season Pass:  $125
10 Ride Discount Book:  $24

*Age 8 & under: FREE with adult (Children age 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult)
Grade 12 & under: half price

Seniors 60 & over: half price

During the Winter season the bus can be crowded in the early mornings during holiday times and especially on “powder days.” Please do everyone a favor; have your bus fare or ticket ready, make room for other riders by not taking up two seats. Keep yourself and your gear organized so you don’t lose anything.
