Each Spring Grand Targhee Resort hosts a number of events towards the end of the season. The Spring Break Away is yet another growing project at the mountain. Lodging deals are available. Enjoy the relaxing resort environment of Grand Targhee and its fabulous terrain. Spring storms can bring ample snowfall. Awesome views of the Tetons and Spring corn await. Grand Targhee is a hidden gem in the Rockies. A lack of lift lines is one of the most appealing aspects of the resort. An average annual snowfall of 500″ guarantees coverage.
Snowcat skiing and snowboarding are also available at the resort, and well worth checking out.
Temperatures tend to be mild and there are some great places to check out while in the area. Head to Wildlife Pizza & Brewery to sample local brews.

Enjoy a weekend of events on the Idaho side of the Tetons. The 2nd Annual Great Snow Fest in Teton Valley, Idaho. There will be a snowmobile snocross event, snow bike and nordic races, a skijoring event and more. Hop over Teton Pass and see what the other side has to offer.
Snowcross and skijouring events will occur on January 31 and February 1. Both events are to be held at the intersection of Hwy 33 and Baseline rd. in Victor, ID.
Snocross wil be held from 10am to 1pm
Skijoring will be held from 1pm to 4pm
The weekends events should provide some excellent entertainment.
If you drive over, stop and get a huckleberry shake at the Victor Emporium or visit the Wildlife Brewery to sample some locally crafted beer and, my favorite, the BBQ Chicken pizza.
Take advantage of public transportation in the valley to move between the Grand Targhee Resort and the valley.

Grand Targhee will be opening this weekend, officially kicking off lift served skiing in the Jackson Area. last weekend’s storm dropped around 30″ in the the Tetons at upper elevations. It looks like we should be looking another storm system passing through the Tetons over this coming weekend(11-21 & 11-22-14).
