Friday, August 23……..Jeff Austin and Friends co-headline with The Family of the Year

The JacksonHoleLive! concert series is in its second season. Throughout the summer, free live music is available at the Snow King Ballpark. The ballpark is located at the base of Snow King mountain. This all-ages evening concert series is a welcome addition to the music scene in Jackson. Coming to fruition after years of anticipation, hope, and hard work this has finally happened. Shows generally wrap up around dusk, and provide a welcome social event for visitors and locals. Dogs are not allowed on the ball field. A five block walk from the town square and convenient to the S.T.A.R.T. bus, makes it easy to get back and forth from the show. This year’s new title sponsor is the Snake River Brewery.

There are a number of local food vendors available with dishes that delight. There is a mix of beverages for all ages, ice cream and shaved ice. Don’t forget the lawn chair or  blanket for lounging. A number of local acts will be opening for these bands throughout the Summer.

Bring the whole family out as this is an all-ages event. Please try to utilize public transportation or bicycles. Take advantage of Valet Parking for your bicycle, via Friends of Pathways. Come early and enjoy the community atmosphere. There is a large children’s play area, featuring a number of activities to keep them entertained.

Breakfast in Jackson Hole

Virginian Cafe

My go to breakfast spot. Get the huevos, you won’t be disappointed. Everything you order will delight your belly.

Corbett’s Cabin Waffles

Don’t miss out on a tasty waffle on top of the world. Inside Corbett’s Cabin, at the top of the aerial tram at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village. The waffle is delicious, and the view can be amazing, served at over 10,000′ above sea level. Tram opens at 9am, line up early for first waffle. The views from the summit of the surrounding valley, on a clear day, are unsurpassed.

D.O.G.=Down on Glenwood

If you are on the go, give DOG a call at 733-4422 to pick up breakfast on the way to your destination. There is a small patio area to dine in. Always fast and filling, DOG is truly a local favorite. Located between Broadway and Pearl street, on Glenwood. They do have an additional, “westbank”, location in the Wilson gas station. Both locations are delicious, they also do lunch. Everyone loves the breakfast burrito, but I tend to lean towards the Kaiser with a little salsa.

Cafe Genevieve

Do yourself some justice.
