December 15th thru the 24th, 2018

During mid-December each year Santa takes some time out from the North Pole to visit Jackson Hole for a little R&R. Some days he hits the slopes to prep for his big night. While he is here he does enjoy carrying on tradition. From 5pm to 7pm each evening Santa will be making his appearance on the Town Square.

Santa will be in the Stage Stop building, located near the southwestern corner of the Town Square, or out on the Square itself. The Square is currently decked out in holiday lighting. A perfect prelude to an early dinner or shopping in town with the family.

Friday, November 29, 2013 from 5:00-7:00pm

The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present the annual Town Square Lighting Ceremony, on Jackson’s Town Square. This favorite holiday event features a visit from Santa Claus along with holiday music and Christmas carols from the Jackson Hole Community Band and Jackson Hole Chorale. Albertson’s and McDonald’s will provide cookies, hot chocolate, and coffee.

Thousands of LED bulbs will be wrapped around the famous elk antler arches and strung around the stately trees. The lighting of the Town Square is a breathtaking moment as the bulbs sparkle to life. Children and families delight at the arrival of Santa Claus who enters with a team of sled dogs from Jackson Hole Iditarod. A special group of volunteers from Dancers’ Workshop will be assisting Santa and the children hoping to visit with him and Teton Literacy Center will provide free books to children of all ages.
