The Bird: South of town serving lunch and dinner. Top notch pub grub. 732-3473.

The Blue Lion: intown location, creative cuisine, elegant atmosphere; lamb, elk, steak, seafood, vegetarian and homemade desserts nightly; outdoor patio, bar, two blocks from downtown on Millward, 733-3912.

Bon Appe Thai: locals favorite, international menu, authentic Thai, takeout available. wine/beer, 245 W. Pearl, 734-0245.

Bubba’s Bar-B-Que Restaurant: real pit barbeque, 40-item salad bar; breakfast, lunch and dinner, great service, 733-2288.

The Bread Basket: My favorite bakery in town, located at 185 Scott Ln., 734-9024.

Calico Italian Restaurant and Bar: on Teton Village Rd., organic meats, pizza, pasta and more, organic garden produces freshest salads in town, outdoor dining, 733-2460.

Cellars: in the lower level of the White Buffalo Club. Best steaks in town. 160 W Gill Ave., 734-4900.

Chinatown Restaurant: Chinese food, over 100 entrees, Chinese atmosphere, 850 W. Broadway, 733-8856.

Couloir: dining at over 9000′ above sea level. Teton Village.

Creekside Market: on North Cache on your way to the parks, one of my favorites, 733-7926.

Deli Dogs: a new twist on an American Classic.

El Abuelito Family Mexican Restaurant: opens 11a.m. everyday, lunch and dinner, children’s menu, full bar, 733-1207.

The Gun Barrel Steak and Game House: wild game, fresh fish, select whiskies, rustic atmosphere with lots of Western memorabilia, 733-3287.

Million Dollar Cowboy Steakhouse: steaks, including elk, buffalo, trout and seafood, kids menu, excellent wine list, reservations recommended, on the Town Square, 733-4790.

New York City Sub Shop: locals favorite, great subs, fun atmosphere, near downtown.

Nikai Asian Grill and Sushi Bar: sushi and fusion grill, dishes prepared in open display kitchen, fresh fish flown in daily, full bar with unique saki and wine list, two blocks north of Town Square, 225 N. Cache, 734-6490.

Pearl Street Meat and Fish: deli, comfort food to go and a few tables for dining in. Located on Pearl St. by the Post office.

Philly’s Phinest Sandwich Shop: buffalo, and elk burgers, classic cheese steaks, nachos, wings, beer-battered fries, and onion rings, open late, located inside the Cowboy Bar on the Town Square, 734-8292.

Pica’s Mexican Taqueria: homemade daily with fresh ingredients: tacos, big burritos, enchiladas and more; dine in/out; beer and margaritas, open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mon. to Sat., located across from Albertsons, 734-7422.

Rendezvous Bistro: raw bar features oysters and tuna tartar; appetizers include mussels, calamari. Menu includes salads, sandwiches, rotisserie chicken, steak, pork chops. Located next to Albertson’s, 380 S. Broadway, 739-1100.

RMO Cafe: located on ground floor of Mangy Moose at Teton Village; espresso bar, Wi-Fi, full breakfasts cooked to order, full menu of sandwiches, burgers, fries, soups, salads and New York style pizza, 734-9438.

The Rose: Just off of the Town Square.

Saddle Rock Family Saloon: Restaurant, true Western cuisine, rowdy Western elegance and entertainment nightly, lunch and dinner, old fashioned soda fountain, 145 W. Deloney, dinner and show reservations, 733-6994.

Shades Restaurant: breakfast and lunch; eggs benedict, panini sandwiches, vegetarian, salads and burritos, located in downtown Jackson, 733-2015.

Sidewinders American Grill & Tavern: barbeque, ribs, pulled pork, burgers, rotisserie chicken, New York style pizza, salads and appetizers, 30 draft beers plus wine bar; kids menu and gameroom for kids; 44 plasma tvs; restaurant and main bar are non smoking, located in The Hillside near Hwy 22 split, 734-5766.

Silver Dollar Bar and Grill: renowned historic landmark located in the Wort Hotel in downtown Jackson; breakfast, lunch and dinner served to visitors and residents for over 60 years, 733-2190.

Snake River Brewery and Restaurant: award-winning brewery and restaurant; pastas, wood-fired pizzas, salads and sandwiches, open 11 to 11 daily, beers brewed on site, families welcome; located at 265 S. Millward, 739-2337.

Snake River Grill: simple sophisticated cuisine; grilled meats and fish, woodburning pizza oven, award-winning wine list, located on the Town Square, 733-0557.

Spur: great apres ski, excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. In the lower level of Teton Mountain Lodge.

Stiegler’s Austrian Restaurant: great food, charming ambience, good service, established 1983. Authentic Austrian veal, pork and wild game specialties, and continental classics, reservations recommended, located at The Aspens on Teton Village Road, 733-1071.

Sudachi: sushi on the West bank. Near Teton Pines, 734-7832.

Sweetwater Restaurant: a Jackson landmark; lunch and dinner in historic log cabin, great ambience; homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, lamb, steaks and game; on corner of King and Pearl downtown, 733-3553.

Taqueria Sanchez: traditional Mexican favorites cooked in authentic style, open lunch and dinner, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day year round, inside seating and patio open in summer, 65 S. Glenwood, 734-5407.

Terra Cafe: in Hotel terra serving breakfast and lunch.

Teton Thai: authentic Thai cuisine served up in Teton Village, 733.0022. They also have a restaurant just over the pass in Driggs,ID, 208.787.8424.

Thai Me Up: Thai and “Ameri-Thai” cuisine and microbrewey. Jackson’s largest vegetarian and vegan selection; premium bar, dinner nightly(lunch and dinner Summer only), outdoor seating in summer, located at 75 E. Pearl St., 733-0005.

Trio: located off the Town Square downtown, owned and operated by three local chefs, serving a variety of cuisine, including wood-fired pizza. Open for lunch daily 11:30 a.m., Mon. to Sat., dinner nightly 6 p.m. Walk-ins welcome, 734-8038.

Village Cafe: Pizza and sandwiches in Teton Village.

Virginian Restaurant, cozy, open, homestyle atmosphere and good home cooking, A family restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Dinner seasonally. Located next to the Virginian Lodge on W. Broadway, 733-4330.

Wendy’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers: you know it, open early and late, located on W. Broadway, 733-5636.

Westbank Grill: in the Four Seasons Resort, fine dining experience.

Wild Sage Restaurant: regional cuisine in addition to fresh seafood selections; river rock fireplace and exhibition style kitchen; dinner; reservations recommended. Located at the Rusty Parrot Lodge, 733-2000.
